Athletic Connection

Athletic Connection

Our girls woke up REALLY early Saturday morning for our practice. And after working very hard during our time in the gym, they devoted some of their free time serving others and teaching them about the game we all love so much!

Congratulations!!

We just wanted to wish Maegan Alme, last season's assistant coach, congratulations on the new baby boy she recently gave birth to.  Hudson was born February 4, 2011--which happens to be Maegan's birthday as well!  Can't think of a greater present...

Let's Get It Started

Bring on the 2011 spring competition.  We are headed out to the gym right now for our first official day of Spring practice!  We had a team meeting yesterday and everyone is committed to making this team the one that takes BYU Volleyball back to the NCAA tournament.  We know that will happen if we learn to push our individual limits, challenge each other physically and mentally, and learn to work harder than we ever have before!

Let's do this!

Our Mission

The mission of the BYU Women’s Volleyball team is to:

Be a TEAM that competes together Every Play, Every Day
and develops ALL it takes to WIN the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

To help accomplish this mission I will:
  • Give dignified effort on the court, in the weight room, and in the class room, Every Play Every Day.
  • Become fundamentally, tactically, and mentally sound.
  • Strengthen the relationship of our team on and off the court through absolute commitment to our Team Culture.
  • Be enthusiastic, industrious, confident, and compete with an unconquerable attitude of success.
  • Represent the team, BYU, and the Savior with pride and dignity in every situation.
